Third Term Event Was A Success

Today we report back with good news following the success of our Third Term Event at Brain Trust Primary School in Wabwoko B Village, Kitimbwa Sub-county in Kayunga District.

The event took place on Saturday 7th October 2017 at the school premises. After a very long trip of approximately 90 Kilometres from the Capital Kampala, we arrived in Kayunga where we were treated to a warm welcome by the school administration, members of the teaching staff, pupils as well as parents and guardians that had been waiting for us.

On the day, we convened a short meeting with the school administrators before going ahead to address the pupils and parents.

We distributed scholastic materials to 50 pupils of the school who are under the partial care of Jesus Cares Charity Organisation (JCCO). The items distributed included Exercise books, pencils, pens and geometry sets for pupils in Primary Three-to-Primary Six.

The best performing pupils from different classes who are not under the care of the organisation were also rewarded with similar scholastic items as well as nine pupils who attended the event despite not having been invited. These nine children from different classes benefited from the remaining items.

The school as an entity received textbooks, rims of printing paper as well as other teaching materials to aid their work.

To facilitate extra co-curricular activities at the school, two balls (football and netball) were given out to the school.

To those that contributed financially regardless of the amount, we cannot thank you enough but, we really appreciate, thank you, thank you and may the good Lord Almighty reward you abundantly.

For team members that dedicated their time to travel and laboured to make the event a success, thank you so much for sparing the time and to our dear pupils, school management and staff as well as the parents and guardians of the respective pupils, thank you for being so cooperative and see you again soon.
